Architect's award for the city library
February 2024: The modernization work on the Mönchengladbach City Library took three years, and the library reopened in June last year. Hepp-Schwamborn was responsible for all electrical engineering measures in the project.
The Association of German Architects (BDA) has now awarded the Linker Niederrhein Architecture Prize to the city of Mönchengladbach and the architectural firm Schrammel from Augsburg for the modernization and extension of the building in keeping with its historical status and the implementation of a contemporary usage concept.
We would like to congratulate them and are proud to have been part of this exemplary modernization project.
